Sig Sauer MCX Rattler Coyote Brown 300 Blackout

Sig Sauer MCX SPEAR-LT .300 Blackout 9″ 1:5″ Bbl Coyote Brown Pistol w/(1) 30rd Magazine PMCX-300B-9B-LT

When the US Special Operations Command put out a request for a Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) to replace the MP5, Sig Sauer responded with the MCX Rattler; an absolutely groundbreaking short barrel rifle.

The Rattler is based on Sig Sauer’s flagship MCX modular rifle, featuring its short-stroke recoil gas piston operating system. What separates Sig Sauer’s MCX platform from other AR/M4 style rifles is the recoil system that totally eliminates the need for a buffertube, making the MCX Rattler more compact than any AR/M4 rifle ever produced.

The MCX Rattler is available in .300 Blackout, 5.56 NATO, and 7.62x39mm, with each chambering being offered in both pistol and SBR variations. The SBR versions come with a folding minimalist stock, but this can be upgraded with a wide array of other stocks. These replacement stocks can also be used to convert the pistol versions into SBRs (with the proper paperwork).

All variations of the MCX Rattler come with a full length picatinny rails and M-LOK attachment points for customization, and also feature a 2-position gas regulator for suppressed or unsuppressed fire.

About Sig Sauer

From humble beginnings as a wagon to factory to one of the world’s largest firearms, optics, and ammunition manufacturers; the history of Sig Sauer is rich in innovation and achievement. After winning a contract from the Swiss government in 1864 for their Prelz-Burnand muzzleloading rifles, the Swiss Wagon Factory changed its name to Schweizerische Industrie-Gesellschaf.

The Swiss Industrial Company, better known as SIG. In 1949 SIG developed the SIG P49, the predecessor to the P210, and continued developing small arms for the Swiss military and police.

Since then the company has changed its name, acquired other firearm manufacturers, and crossed the Atlantic—setting up headquarters in New Hampshire.

However, what hasn’t changed is the innovative spirit that has driven SIG SAUER to develop firearms like the SIG516 rifle, MCX rifle, P320 pistol, and P226 pistol. With clients like the Texas Rangers, United States Secret Service, Navy Seals, and dozens of local law enforcement agencies nationwide; SIG SAUER is there When It Counts.
